Avis Budget Group lowers costs through digital transformation

The Client

Avis Budget Group (ABG) is a leading global provider of vehicle rental services.

The Challenge

Avis Budget Group is being impacted by increasing competition from non-traditional players. Therefore, ABG is looking for new and innovative ways to differentiate themselves from their competition.

The Solution

Leveraging our extensive startup network and expertise, our team mapped the startup landscape and identified Fixico, a startup that streamlines the repair process for rental companies.

The Outcome

We facilitated a pilot between the two companies at the European International Airport that resulted in a reduction of vehicle repair cycle times by 30% (targeted 20%) and lowered overall repair costs by 27% (targeted 20%). ABG and Fixico are launching another location in Europe and discussing future expansion to the USA.
